WORK VISAS
U.S. borders primarily open for highly specialized workers. Foreign nationals can apply for two main types of work visas:
- Immigrant Work Visa: This visa is designed for individuals with advanced degrees or exceptional skills and allows for permanent residency in the U.S.
- Nonimmigrant Visa: Intended for temporary stays, this visa is suitable for workers coming to the U.S. for specific jobs or projects. It typically requires employer sponsorship and has defined duration limits.
Applicants for both visa types must meet specific eligibility criteria and follow the application process outlined by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
